Introducing Google Instant- Death Of Long Tail Keywords

Google always believed that searches should be fun, fast and easy. And living to its promise, it has introduced a totally new and innovative way to find information : Google Instant.

Based on the new HTML5 standard, Google Instant is a feature which enables live search results as you type the search phrases. More precisely, its the search-as-you-type format. Once the user types in a word in Google, the text area would be automatically filled with several predictions, highlighted in gray. The user can view the search results without even hitting the “search” button.

In case the user is not satisfied, the search phrase can be changed or simply searched via primitive  method or clicking the search button or enter.

Our Chief Strategist, Mr Vipin Guliani said that "The new Google Instant will kill the long term keywords strategy, as more and more users will be now choosing more shorter, specific keywords or head keywords as the predictions of Google will provide them only these options. Thus, from the point of view of SEO, the head keywords will hold much more importance".

Officially announced via Search Engine Event which was broadcast all over the globe, Google Instant managed to create flurry all across the web with some expressing apprehensions regarding this latest feature.  While few SEO experts have already announced that Google Instant will be an end to SEO as a whole, other optimistic participants including Profit By Search proclaims that this new exciting initiative from Google has opened up a new dimension in the SEO world.
