Improved And Enhanced Top Search Query From Google

Google has finally improvised the existing Top Search Queries feature in the webmaster tools. This new update is a direct result from feedback and updates received by Google programmers after the latest version of this feature was launched some times back. Some additional features and better analytical blend of options were eagerly awaited, which have been embedded in the new version of Top Search Queries.

To start with, the existing name of this tool has been changed to Search Queries, for better identification of this feature. This simplification of the name will enable the users to identify the rich components of this tool in easy fashion.

A new feature called “Average Position” has been added in the Search Queries tool, placed just right on the main page. This will help the users to identify whether their website is being displayed when a particular keyword is being searched.

Another new feature is a "Displaying" number for Impressions and Clicks. This number represents a total count of the data displayed in the Search Queries table. The number which is displayed in bold just above this feature is the total count of data in the search queries table.

Further, a unique feature known as Starred Tab has also been added in the Search Queries tool. This star is displayed along all the search queries in the home page. Once a search query has been starred, it will be displayed under the consolidated heading of the Starred tab, which can enable the webmasters to quickly glance around the most sought after data in the most convenient manner.
